Corsair Dominator GT (CMT8GX3M2B2133C9)

Asus Z77 Sabertooth motherboard:

Unfortunately I forgot to make pictures of the motherboard. But I do have these where the motherboard is allready mounted on the case:

EK-RAM Dominator X4:

Made a start with the visible tubing, using Bitspower Crystal Link tubes:

Did some measuring and filing for the sata connectors:

After installing the mobo the gap between it and the backplate kinda bugged me, so I've made these:

They'll be installed next to the mobo like this:

So yeah then I ran into a small problem, mainly because I didn't plan ahead.. The only panel on the case that should be able to come off hasn't got enough room to actually come off:

Because of the reservoir, the panel with the fan can only come off by moving it upwards, but it can't because the part with the blue line on it is blocked by the motherboard, and there is not enough room to move it back, there is only a 6mm gap between the panel and the reservoir (at the green arrow) So yeah that sucks.. :wallbash:
But I think I found a solution that hopefully looks good too, to do this I had to cut the panel in two pieces:

And I've cut a stainless steel hinge into the right size:

The hinge is mounted onto the panel like this, (The screws will be hidden)

Finished the pannel with the hinge:

When the psu fan is installed the top part can't swing open this far, but still far enough to allow the pannel to 'slide' up and clear the mobo.
Filled the screwholes and sanded them flush with the pannel:

Continuing with the ATX pass-through pannel, this is what I drew in Sketchup:

And this is what I got in the mail today:

I've cut 2 lenghts of wire, 12 for the inner curve and 12 for the outer curve, this way the cables align best. Then I soldered the pins to the wires and sleeved it with Paracord.

And after 3 evenings filled with burns and curses I´ve got this:

Worth it!

Been figuring out a way to connect the EATX cables, without running a bundle of cables in front of the mobo, this is what I came up with:

Testfit (crappy iPhone pic :grr: )
Now let's hope the bars won't melt  (2mm brass)
Filled the gaps between the pins on the eatx connector with metalputty and filed it down:

Bend the other ends of the brass bars into shape:

Fits like a glove

There will be some spacers in between the 2 bars, and the bars will be isolated from eachother by either heatshrinks or plastidip.

So this is where I'm at right now. Comments are more than welcome
Up next is re-doing the EAXT bars but this time out of 3mm solid copper bar.

Yesterday I've spend some time on sanding (up to P600) a couple of small parts. This morning I sprayed them with primer. After a couple of hours drying I've sanded them again and applied a 2nd layer of primer:
