First of all, you respond on a 3 week old post which has been discussed already and secondly, he has stopped releasing them now as far as we can tell.
Which in my opinion is a sad thing, but it could not be helped. People just wanted mirrors and that is a fair thing. And since he posted on Guru3D forum, Guru3D has the right to mirror it imo
Hopefully we still get a steady stream of leaked releases, as I'm always wanting to test them

I scanned roughly through this topic and noticed that no one noticed that this driver supports
Muxless OpenGL AMD Discrete GPU Hardware Acceleration
I have just run FurMark (OpenGL) app on these and the AMD gpu was detected and running perfectly fine, benchmark score @720p
http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fu...e.php?id=70568
(Ignore the driver version it's being read from Intel GPU, but looking at the score, it's running off of AMD gpu!!!)
I mean... people have been waiting for this for... a year?

holy crap? that means I don't have to mess with fixed mode graphics anymore !
aw crap. stupid driver won't install properly on my setup. I get black screen, then this black to white fading effect. Blue screen during install.
I hope the official beta doesn't fail to install like this. This is a huge error

I got these to work as well as the previous releases, however I had to unplug my HDMI cable first from the laptop and boot to the LCD first, then plug in the external monitor. Otherwise it just goes to a black screen after the windows loading screen appears.

The eighth post said mobility cards are supported.
I'm downloading the pack now, but I think it'll have the "Driver has stopped responding" error.

Can anyone confirm DirectX 11 games to work with these drivers under Windows 8? SR3 doesn't startup in DX10/11 mode, but works fine in DX9

LA Noire doesn't work on Win8.
Although you can use unofficial patch to make it work (without DLC cases). Worked fine for me. You can find this patch on steam forums in LA Noire thread.

Can't be bothered to go through 11 pages of nonsensical squabbling to maybe find a reply that answers my question. I'm going to post this here and keep it short: How does this driver compare to the WHQL 12.8 driver for Windows 7 x64? Thanks.

12.7 catalyst doesn't show catalyst version? -

On the catalyst page information | software there is no 'catalyst version' line below the 'driver packaging version' it just shows the provider line next. What is that all about?
edit oops this post wasn't supposed to be in this thread - sry.
