Kepler with 1344 cores, 720MHz clock and 256-bit 4GB RAM. Not bad. Looking to Alienware or ASUS for a model paired with Ivy bridge

It's good to see laptop chips being this powerfull, now to get the perfect balance: Fast CPU, GPU, good cooling, low noise, no disco-look and a high contrast HD matte screen.

You want a desktop GPU then in your laptop? Good luck trying that without it burning through the chassis.

We need to start seeing more ips or ips equivelant screens.
Sick of this colour inversion crap.
Not getting another laptop unless it has an ips screen and a 650m at least.

The GTX675M is based on Fermi GF114 ( 384cores ), with 620mhz and double clock speed on shader ( 1240mhz ).
This is one look based on the GK104 with 1344mhz and 720mhz turbo ( not confirmed if it is the turbo speed or standard clock speed ).
The GTX670 = 920/980 (even if all review have been made with 670 with a TB at 1100+mhz instead of 980 working nearly 100% of the time )
But this is where the thing start to be surprising: It was maybe more easy to use a lot of CC with a lower clock speed instead of maintain high clock and retain lower CC. And use the Turboboost for maintain average powerdraw.
( I will wait confirmation of it, as all early article was indicate different specs )
Look like a real good card.. The performance gap between the 675M and this one should be big.

Damn, seen some pricing on this GPU, so far I've seen prices ranging from $400-$500 more expensive than a GTX670m. This also means it's about $300 more expensive than the HD7970m. This makes the 7970 pretty competitive as it's probably only about 10-15% slower than the 680.
