Default Dues Ex Human Revolution RivaTuner FPS limiter - 06-04-2012, 00:05 | posts: 172

The only time i get screen tearing is when the game plays "video" not actual gameplay. Mind you I only get screen tearing in Crossfire not in single GPU.

Then i started to decide that I should limit the frames per second.

I limited it to 200 FPS. This does help screen tear but I would like to limit it even higher than 200 FPS to see what happens.

I noticed the higher i limited the Frames Per second the less Screen Tear I got.

My problem is ... I cant experiment with limiting above 200 Frames Per Second.

Is there a way to make MSI Riva Tuner to have the ability to limit to atleast say 500 FPS... instead of the 200 max?

well actually i think its a driver issue.

I was able to edit the cfg file and set it at 300, 400 and even more tearing happened.... than at 200 fps.

I really hate Vsync....

I dont think the videos had massive screen tear until recently though..

I should try to install drivers over... I did get an error message when installing the drivers but the error report had nothing to say.

so well... yes its possible to limit higher than 200 but it didnt help me maybe due to its unsupported.
