Temps on GPUs are in the 50s while playing D3 (Vsync ON). CPU hitting around the 45 mark. My room sucks dick and is really small, with mini-storage room connected to it. My ambient temp in here is a lot higher than average. Smooth as butter here.

Most nVidia cards have a rated thermal limit of 95-105C. AMD cards typically have a thermal limit of 100-110C.

With reference cooler, the HD4850 could easily reach it's 105C thermal limit.

lol, that's nothing. My 4850 was reaching thermal shutdown trying to play WoW...which is beyond 110C.....lol

yea my stock 8800 ultra ran at 70 idle....which was standard for that reference design

kept me warm throughout winter, nearly made me die from heat stroke in summer

He's not using a 4850, 8800, or whatever other cards you guys are mentioning. His temps are too high as is, the cards can stand higher temperatures but that doesn't mean those temps should be accepted either.

he can either RMA it, or get anm aftermarket cooler for 50 bucks
