I have a GTX570 right now, and getting GTX670 soon. Can i put the GTX570 in the second slot and off-load Physics (PhysX) calculation to the GTX570 instead of doing it on GTX670?

If I can't use the GTX570 in any way, I might just sell it cheap for like $150 on ebay or something.

Yah you can run PhysX on the GTX570, but that would be pretty much overkill.

Sell it, the 670 is more than capable of doing the PhysX with pretty much no performance loss.
Having such a power hungry card just for PhysX is just silly, and be realistic: How many games do you play actually use PhysX?

Also... is PCIe 3.0 Important? >_> I am using the i5-2500k which dont' support PCIe 3.0... I dont' want to bottle neck the new card ;x The board is capable of PCIe 3.0... just need to upgrade bios with Ivy Bridge.

need to have an ivy bridge to use PCIe 3.0. and sell the 570. the 670 would be starved of air anyways.

Yea I know i need ivy bridge, but do I need PCIe 3.0 for GTX 670? Don't want to bottle neck it... I remember the days of AGP 4x and AGP 8x ;x

Thanks! It seems like even the difference between 8x and 16x PCIe isn't big...
