I just tested it and wasn't expecting much but it's great, the quality is clear and the performance hit is very minimal. I guess it's time to uninstall Fraps.
One thing though, is it possible to stop it recording all the OSD data while recording? |

It would be nice if you could disable it on videos and screenshots separately.
