Space Channel 5 is absolutely nothing like Company of Heroes. World in Conflict is very similar to CoH, just without buildings + Snow.

Gameplay is completely different. CoH is smaller scale and more infantry based than WiC. Combat mechanics too are also completely different in the games.

I've played the first one with the Blitzkrieg Mod to death, and still play it today when I have time, so this comes as awesome news, and I'm absolutely gonna' buy it. However, I guess I'm the only one somewhat disappointed that they decided to create CoH 2 based on an already existing CoH 1 mod? They should have left it at that and focused on something new. Would have loved to have seen the Japanese make an appearance this time! So many options right there.
Imagine the same engine and gameplay based on modern warfare? Mind = blown.

yeah i'd like to see a japanese company of heroes with some aussies/brits/yanks in the mix.
even a ww1 scenario..but that perhaps might be a bit stale re trench warfare.
