You can just hook up an Ethernet cable between the two and copy all the info over. Don't just switch out the HDD's because the PS3 will just format it. The PS3 itself will give you directions on how to hook them up together.

Why would he do that when the HDD he is trying to put in the slim is more than double the capacity?

I don't know if you just switch them out. I would hook up an external drive and make a backup of your 320GB drive and then install it and restore the backup.

Connet both PS3 together with a eathernet cable and transfer from old to new.....your only problem will be if you dont have more than 120gig of data to transfer from the old 320gig ps3.

Thank u guys.

But i had a big fcking problem. i coudlnt unscrew my 320gb HDD from its case. i mean not the ps3 1 but the the THING that u screw into and make it solid u know. ARGGG. what the heck happens to my english .

So i couldnt unscrew that 320 GB. how lame -_-..doing fine with 120GB for now :/ . but not enough for my digital PSn purchases :/.

and it is very clear that this default 120Gb is slower than my 320GB HDD :/

yeah. i , at least, need 500GB HDD for my PS3. this 120GB is already full :/

By the way. I SWEAR, all games i downloaded from PSN and played on my OLD PS3, r running with SMOOTHER FPS on this new SLIM PS3.
my theory is my old 1 was running so loud and HOT. so the hardware performance was LOW.

DRAGON AGE 2: Runs without any screen stutter. i copied my save games to a usb flash disk and pasted them to this new ps3 slim. so i tried DA2 last night from the save game i created last time. man that scene was an intense fight scene and it was stuttering at my old PS3. but this, PS3 SLIM runs very well..and applying some more AA? i think my eyes r fooling me.
