Default Samsung's next galaxy teaser - 04-23-2012, 11:55 | posts: 4,826 | Location: Land of the Great Downunder

samsung started this site yesterday

http://www.tgeltaayehxnx.com/

now before you guys say 'ban him for sending a trap link', its an official link leaked by samsung. click it and you'll see a countdown like this.

the link is an anagram. if you rearrange the letters, it spells 'the next galaxy'. countdown finishes soon. hopefully its an announcement about the s3

mmm, i lol'd at that part.

randomly stumbed upon this,

http://www.thenextgalaxy.nl/

not an official samsung site, but they somehow got the domain anyway, lol. they've collated some info from the s3 rumours (from what i can tell from google translate anyway).

the performance is good compared to the tegra 3, however, its not 5x faster than the s2/tegra3, so its not the mali t604 we've been hearing about. so chances are, this will be just a mali-400 gpu on a smaller manufacturing process (32nm vs the 45nm of the s2) with a higher clcok speed.

edit: no confirmation that the gt-i9300 is the s3.
oh and the SGS2 in these images is the skyrocket version using the snapdragon processor, not the exynos. the exynos 4210 performs somewhere inbetween the htc one S and one X.

God bless them for including a microSD slot. Their biggest mistake with the Galaxy Nexus was cutting out the microSD imo.

Yeah I was disappointed at the HTC One X for having no memory slot and non removable battery. I practically use my memory card all the time when flashing ROMs and if I know if my battery every gets crappy I can swap it for a new one

Lets hope that wireless charger is any good, we know the ones currently out arent that great but if samsung makes a good one then that'd be awesome.

I'm sure this will be an awesome phone and all, but I hate the design. Really, really ugly. And please tell me you can get it in another colour than white?

You can get it in blue too! If its the same blue as the note its very dark and quite nice.

Like the specs, don't like the design. Hopefully the US carrier versions will look different, as the US GS2s do.

yes it is a dark blue ... ( look black with a touch of grey )

The design can look strange at first, but after have seen some video made by jurnalist with the phone in their hand, it look good. The static front shoot are not give it justice.

I will have like it with more angle, more square.. as we have seen the prototype.

It is basically a mix between the design of the S2, the note, with curve..

Browsermark ( Higher is better )

(Sunspider, lower is better )

I don't think it's ugly but I would get a heart attack if I drop it, though.

They are pretty durable (if the Galaxy S and SII are any indication). The Gorilla Glass helps that facet a lot. I dropped mine enough to attest to that.

x2 I go around a lot of times both with and without my case on.

Ironically the times I go around without it is when I drop the phone.

It's fell on tile and even concrete outside from 5ft high or so and while it's got rather minor dent on one of the corners the screen still works amazing.
