Maybe this isn't occurring in every game as I thought, or perhaps this problem is somehow not completely caused by the driver.
Although 300.83 fixes the stutter.

What games did you try ?

Most noticable for me, is when playing Mass Effect 3.

BTW, i'm not the only one,

Seems related to VSYNC and since I don't use that may explain why I don't have such issues. Maybe I will try some games with VSYNC on to see. Games I play BF3, L4D/L4D2, Dirt 3, Batman AC, Crysis 1/2, Deus Ex, MS Flight, Hard Reset, Black OPs to name a few.

Any word on wether the Skyrim preset for SSAO (via inspector) is fixed with these? Been using 301.25 and can only get SSAO with Fallout 3/Oblivion preset (which are worse).

I have 2x560ti for 3 monitors. A lot of problems with these drivers switching from modes 1/3 monitors. Monitor connected to the second card fails (driver send incorrect frequency / pc hangs / etc).

V-sync with stutters.

I rolled back to 296. I think bad frequency started with 301.xx but I need to test more. Yesterday I was 1 hour and no problems with 296.

I will wait to next beta and users opinion.

Try to uninstall, clean with driver sweeper in safe mode and reinstall and see.
i suggest to install the driver via device management.
it is better than setup.exe

I have noted no real differences between 301.10, 301.24, and 301.32. For myself I am running 301.24 since they are from the most recent branch.

I decided to install these drivers and test them myself. So far, 3d clocks are working as expected.

BUT, again, I'll leave the system on for all day, and test it later, because the problem seem to happen after long hours with the system on.

I'll tell you if it works.

I am guessing you're not stuck with 2D clocks but, for what-ever reason - crashing to 2D clocks.

Card starts nicely and then because of the OC or some other system instability, driver crashes and GPU goes into 2D (to prevent damage?)

Never had any crashes with the drivers (or videocard whatsoever) while playing games.

It only happens on desktop or (I think) while browsing the net and while 2d clocks are active. There wasn't any sudden switch from 3d to 2d.

Anyone got any of the 300 series drivers working with Gotham City Imposters? Every driver past 296.10 that I've tried I just get a black screen and then the game crashes to desktop.

I've been running this system for more than 20 hours straight with these drivers and seems that the clock problem is gone. But the adaptive vsync is very broken with these... Just sticking with ordinary vsync does the trick, apparently.

No crashes so far!

Er no. The drivers will not install correctly using device manager. You're far better off just using the custom install option and selecting clean install.
