Your high CPU use is caused by something sending/causing interrupts constantly, could be software or faulty hardware.
What is the full method you used to get 3D working.
Did you just change the inf or did you install the fake emitter driver...?
When it worked perfectly, how did you get it going again?

I guess you guys ended up talking about 3d using hacks with nvidia.
Anyways, I already got the S27A950D for 579.99+tax 2 weeks ago and its awesome. I have tried tridef and 3d bluray movies and it works fine but has crosstalk/ghosting even after adjusting the settings.
I was thinking of getting better 3d glasses but a 100$ for the ssg 3750 is too much since it cost 1/6 of the monitor. the 3050s that came with the monitor are good but im not sure if 3750 is any better at producing 3d content except for being lighter and rechargeable.
I am using the 12.4 beta 8.96 drivers for Amd 7950 OE Sapphire

Could anyone provide a link to a working version of the hack/crack/whatever?
I'm using one of the 301 series drivers right now and I've installed the 285.62 3D Vision controller driver (fresh install).
It should/could be working with this combination, right?

dl 3D-Vision-Emulator.zip http://3dvision-blog.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=997
if you have installed 285.62, it's cool but it's useless ^^.
Install the latest driver, dl an EDID of a 3Dvision support screen and replace your first monitor driver with this one.(http://3dvision-blog.com/forum/viewt...hp?f=14&t=2025)
use the tuto of 3dvision emulator, then you will see that 3dvision emitter can't be installed, then you go to the "gestion de périphérique"(sry im fr ^^) and install it manually with C: nvidia/display driver/285.62(!!!!)/ .../.../NV3DVisionUSB.Driver/the folder.
RESTART YOUR COMPUTER, launch the 3dvision setting and follow the instructions, it's the end!
Have a nice day

Thanks alot! Change the EDID... guess I missed that part the first time
Sounds like this could be a great weekend!
PS: Do you know which part of the monitor .inf is the important one to make the emulator work? My "original" Samsung .inf looks different than the one from the link and e.g. the Asus .inf doesn't show "huge" differences to it either.
I'd like to keep my monitor's color/frequency information (in case it makes a difference) that seems to be stored there.

For me it's 20 normally (with contrast at 81 and gamma through "Magic Angle"), resulting in 120cd/m. It's almost too bright at night but fine during the day.

WOW. Anything less than 70 looks to dull. The colours go bland too. White does not actually look white any more less than 60-70. How the hell do you have it so low??
Have a background picture of something natural and tell me it looks good at 20 then tell me if it looks better and lifelike on 70. I'd love to know what you think.
I have magic angel on too. I think it group view as a review of the monitor said that is good for gamma. I left the contrast on default. Will try to find the review...
EDIT: There ya go:
http://pcmonitors.info/reviews/samsung-s27a750d
I just don't get how people can have the brightness sooo low. Just because sites say 120cd/m is right does that mean it looks good for gaming?

Well a number of sites including the one that I linked mention that the optimal result is 75 (default).
I understand contrast is white level. Will have a little play now.

General method is adjust brightness until black looks as near black as you can get, adjust contrast to get max brightness correct.
Other items that you can configure can affect black level as well, so its best to start with everything off/centred.
Perform basic brightness/contrast config and see how good it gets.
Then decide if you want to use other tools to get it looking its best.
With a 3D display, you have 3 basic configs, night time, day time and 3D, maybe more for different types of input.
I doubt you will make any one configuration that will handle all 3 satisfactorily.
3D mode can also do automatic adjustment of some things, but may not be to your liking so might need further tweaking.

I used a colorimeter to calibrate it. I always use 120cdm as that's the "standard" for cinemas and the like.
A brightness value of 20 won't work unless everything else gets adjusted accordingly. All the normal settings were quite bad for me but after calibration the picture is very nice.

Revert back to previous drivers? I don't know.
I thought the idea for the emulator is that you must stay at the drivers the emulator was originally created for.

Someone reported a few days ago that the latest driver doesnt support 3D, so maybe 3D is broken in this driver for some or all people.

Got this monitor today and was not impressed with the 3D I've got.
I tried installing the emulator in the 285.xx series but the DSF installation file keeps rolling back and ending "Prematurely". The installation worked before but something changed. Either way, the emulator is not working for me. Think I need a full explainable way. I might not be doing it right.
EDIT: Changed my system to Windows 7, changed the init_x64 by removing the i/ /s letters. Works perfectly. Emulator is great.

I've tried to install the EDID inf files for my monitor and 3D Vision through Device Manager but it keeps saying that it's already up to date. Even when I do it through "Have disk" way, it says "The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible driver. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it's designed to work Windows for x64 systems" And yes, I do use a x64 Windows system. It's really confusing to set this up. Thought it was very easy.

i know where u block...
you mustn't show him the folder, there is a square below who said something like:"choose among the list of device on my computer", then you click on "disk given" and then you specified the data. (im sorry if its not exactly written this way, im french OS ^^)
