the "upgrade" to Z77 isn't really an upgrade it is more of a new flavored candy that you feel you gotta try but ends having bitter flavor after all the expectation ^^

his p67 m/b died and he was forced to buy a new one. I doubt if 6 more posts is enough for you to grasp this

My Z77 board was cheaper than the P67 or Z68 alternatives. Due to budget, I was "forced" to buy it. Unlike some on this forum, I don't have a seemingly unlimited budget.

And no, the i7 2600K is staying until Broadwell.

Ok but it doesn't make any sense at all.It has to be 77W TDP on the box of the new i7.Anyway we'll see next week what the New ivy can do.If it doesn't deliver the proper Overclok on air under normal temps, then i'll buy an i7-2600k paired with an z77 board.

It uses 77W but has 95W TDP (thermal design power).

And in my case, that is why i will never be a retailer, but a consumer, so as a consumer, it is my right to tell Intel and the retailer where i plan to buy my 3770:

It's already 2PM EDT, there's still no stock in any stores for Intel Core i5 3570K & Core i7 3770K at any retail locations in Canada (at least the trustworthy ones).
