Yeah, when Rage first came out and the whole world seemed to be complaining, I was playing the game and thinking, what a good looking game with a good art style, and the shooter mechanics were top notch.
I had no issues with texture popping and stuff, so I understand the frustration people had about that.
The game played great for me...no texture popping, no crashes, great FPS.....I love the game.
just dont play it expecting a story driven game.....it is still a shooter, and a good one in my book.

Some last Max Payne 3 images, nearly done with the game now, having to dodge and shoot all the time gets a bit tiresome and other than the slowmo the shooting mechanics are a bit basic but the game is still very fun and the story is interesting so far.
(I continually get impressed with the attention to detail Rockstar Games have managed, would be nice if the main cinematics were done in-game instead of pre-rendered but due to the native resolution being 1080 instead of 720 or lower it's not too bad and the game does use them to stream data efficiently too.)

DayZ Mod
I met up with a survivor, but my paranoia got the best of me and I left and went on my own...I am finding myself not wanting to trust anyone.

Out on my own, I feel much more safe and i feel like I am really trying to just survive another day....I move slowly and case out every place before I make my move to salvage some goods.

This was great, as I was lying in the weeds and heard gun fire and witnessed alot of walkers going agro....once the dust settled...I waltzed on in and found me a winny and enough supplies to make it another day.

This has to be my best find of the day, as it got dusk I slipped into a farm house and got very excited when I found me a Ghillie suit.....now let the fun begin

Can you spot me? This is taking my sneaking to a whole different level....I can not wait to stalk and sneak up on a bandit.

I need to find an alice pack, a few more medical supplies...like a blood pack and a hunting knife....then this character should be in for some really fun times....game definitely gives you a rush and feel of satisfaction.
It also makes me so damn paranoid that i dont trust anybody

It really is incredibly immersive - the constant paranoia and the feeling of success when you find crucial supplies to get you through the next couple hours.
Yesterday I did a deerstand tour, connecting them across the map. I found some new items - binoculars, flashlight, and a tent - but I still haven't got out of a grocery store alive - they're always surrounded. I was out of ammo and had a train of zombies follow me into one, where I found a player cowering in the corner. I ran out the back and eventually died. I wonder if that guy made it.
