While playing PSP game just touch and hold the screen until the menu comes up. Then choose to emulate d-pad. Do it and it'll make sense.

In comparison though; 2048 track design is more complex and life-like than HD and Fury tracks. HD and Fury controls seem a lot easier too.

The Wipeout 2048 DLC is FREE if you own the PS3 versions of HD and Fury like I did. Really sweet to have 24 new tracks and 36 vehicles all for nought pence. I really like the idea of sharing content across PS3 and PSVita games.
In fact, considering you only own the license to use a game not the game itself it would be cool if you could buy a multiformat game and play it on any platform regardless of whether it is PC, Xbox, PS or a handheld. With Cloud gaming it should be possible to resume saves across different platforms too (like MotorStorm RC already has as you can continue your PS3 save on your PSVita and vice versa).

Try the game "The Third Birthday". It is very similar to Resident Evil coming from the "Parasite Eve" series.
Not sure if its on the Marketplace though...

That's surely the future for gaming. I don't own a PS3, but, there is obvious long-term value in this. This is one crucial area where games will eventually catch-up with music. In the near future; Imagine playing the latest Unreal 3 on latest phone/hand-helds and continuing on console/PC when you get home!

Looks like Nvidia want to do the same thing Cloud Gaming
Personally I don't like the idea. I like all my different consoles. Plus there will inevitably be some sort of lag between control input and whats on the screen. Also how the hell are you going to play Metro 2033 on full max settings using an Iphone and 3g connection and actually enjoy it..

I think you misunderstood me as I do not like OnLive either as not only is the lag bad but the compressed image quality is beyond awful (sub-YouTube quality IMO) for someone like me used to high-quality 1920x1200 gaming.
No, what I meant was that you pay for a multiformat game license and that license entitles you to download the game on all the formats available if you own those systems. They would all share the save games and settings via the Cloud (like Steam does so you can play on different PCs via your account).
Sony have taken that step with the PS Vita already when they offered MotorStorm RC, Hustle Kings, Pure Chess and now Wipeout HD/Fury as downloads for your PS3 and PSVita but you only have to pay for one version. I'd like to that concept extended to all games personally so I only have to buy one copy but I can play it on my Xbox 720, PS4, WiiU, PSVita or PC depending on which I feel like playing.

Why don't you sell your 3DS and buy a PSVita then? It may not be favour of the month but it has some damn fine games already with more on the way (Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, Street Fighter X Tekken, FIFA 13, etc., etc.).
I wasn't a big fan of handhelds to be honest until I bought my PSVita but I think it's great and don't regret buying it one iota. The memory cards could be a lot cheaper (as in 50% cheaper, and a 64 GB one wouldn't go amiss either), the game slot is a little fiddly for someone with short nails to remove and the battery life could be longer but otherwise this is portable gaming at its very best IMO. I never leave home without mine!

ah , so the dlc is free, not the game itself. hmm ....
though i dont really like my 3ds , one thing it really showed me. i really hate tiny screens. you see , im used to 24" and larger. its not really the resolution , but the size of the screen itself. the 3ds is about 30 times smaller then my pc screen lol (which isnt huge, could use a upgrade to 27" or larger if it wasnt so expensive atm)
have tried a few games on my android phone , but didnt like that either.
portable gaming is not for me, unless you got the size of a tablet.
but wasnt there something about remotely playing on your tv through the ps3 ? i think i read something about that. could be a dream though lo
im kind of done with nintendo anyways, they didnt bring the quality games on the wii that they did on the n64 or gc. and i expect that be the same with wii-u

Yes, putting old-timers in the position of CEO doesn't always work.
Put someone like me there though, I would;
1. Release entire PS catalogue on PSN.
2. Release entire PS2 catalogue on PSN.
3. Release entire PSP catalogue on PSN.
4. Release entire PS3 catalogue on PSN.
5. Reduce digital download pricing.
6. Release entire Sony+partners film catalogue on PSN
7. Reduce memory card pricing in-line with SD cards.
8. Fund parallel development of games for both PSV and PS3. Which leads onto...
9. Extend range of games involved in buy-once for both systems scheme.
10. Fix bugs and problems arising from doing 1-9.
Hope you learn't something Sony...

Ahh gottya! My iphone and ipad have been doing that for a while now and it's actually annoying for me lol. Example I'll buy something on my iphone and when i grab my ipad the game is there aswell and these are for ones that just dont suit it which is the annoying part.
