I saw a motherboard that has like 6 SATA Ports but the way they are named kind of confused me. It says SATA 1 - U, SATA 1 - L, SATA 2 - U, SATA 2 L and so on. So there are 2 ports with same number but different alphabets. What does U and L mean? Thanks
Old thread I know, sorry. But between upper and lower, which does the bios recognize first? I have a mutli-HDD system and doing a fresh install and I'm trying to figure out which one it needs to put its system reserved partition on. Thanks in advance.
Well to take the guesswork out just temporarily disconnect all but the drive you are installing the o/s on.
