Therefore I am now starting the rig gallery revision 2. This gallery will be a combination of the old rig gallery, and video card gallery ( http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=97439). So if you want to post pics of anything in your PC, this is the thread you'll want to use.
I've noticed that people seem to be rather unhappy with the new rules in this thread, and frankly I'm starting to see why. So, I have decided to slack up on the rules again, thus taking the thread back to it's old glory. I as well miss the good discussions and the vast amounts of knowledge previously shared in this thread. However, I do not want the thread to slide out in it's pseudo-spamthread problems that it had at it's heights. Therefore I'm going to put out some simple rules that I trust you as members will help us (the staff) to keep.
1) Comments and suggestions towards people's PC's are now allowed without including a picture. This does not however mean you can spam page up and down about all random crap that might fall into your head. This is a gallery, not a spam thread!
2) Maximum image size is now 1280x1024. If the image is larger than this; either use a thumbnail or a direct link to the image.
3) Maximum number of images PER post is now 5 (FIVE). If you want to show more, make another post.
4) No quoting of pictures. If you want to direct a post towards a member, you can either: a) remove the image links from the quote, or b) write @ <insertnamehere>
5) No off topic spam!
Now, in my opinion these rules are super simple to maintain. I expect you as members will help us keeping this thread as clean as possible. Don't be afraid of letting people know if they're breaching the set rules.
Happy posting!

I know... but hey, the first time i had a little endeavor with an SSD in my Cosmos case that doesn't have a bracket for a 2.5" drive, i at least improvised a little. Taped it to the back of my motherboard tray with painters tape. Worked quite well.
I can see it now.... go through all the work of getting everything to fit nicely into that little case... you sit back to admire it, and suddenly realize you forgot about the SSD. haha

Here is my new case for my new computer which all Im waiting for right now is the processor. So until then I have my old AMD X2 BE2400 setup keeping the seat warm just cause I couldnt wait to use this amazing case
Its a Fractal Design XL and its almost twice the size and about 3x the weight of my old Ultra Aluminus full tower. It also has the side panels covered in sound dampening material to keep it quiet.

@GAR818

Crimbo present from my wife, new monitor: Dell U2711 27" IPS, native resolution 2560x1440 goodness. Looking forward to having a new 7970 power this baby in the new year. Photo taken on phone to do otherwise would get in the way of gaming!

I dont know if its just me..... But looking at such cool builds, and computer hardware powered up and running in general just excites me.
By that, I mean its always exciting to see new computers and different setups.
