    LOL

guess they skipped the craptastic performance us xfire users get on SKYRIM and BATMAN DX11 there has been a update but still not fixed.

Might aswell as those to the latest CCAPS v1.3 ?

What is there to improve? they had BF3 nailed, from now on the only thing you can expect is worse performance over the next few drivers if BC2 driver history is anything to go by.

Thank you, asder00. There is a tangible improvement in Serious Sam 3 with 2x5870 here :)

There are still slight hitches on explosions and destruction that don't exist on nvidia cards.

    From catalystcreator:

"Note - Skyrim CF is support in 11.11c - but title can be CPU bound in certain cases, so that's why CF scaling is not always apparent"

Not for me there isn't. Using my 6970 or my brothers GTX 570 I don't get any "hitches".

Hate to say it, but I've also noticed these issue when something is blown up in front of me... And I'm not bound by GPU or CPU, so it may well be a driver issue, or lack of power in a certain area.

Skyrim is not cpu bound. A cpu bound title doesn't run at half the framerate in crossfire. It should scale gpu usage rather than degrade performance.

    not entirely true.

It actually is cpu bound (its only optimized for 2 cores with MT), but that is no excuse for "negative" crossfire scaling as there are plenty of resources left on a quad core to compensate for any latency created by the 2nd card...

unless of course you have a seriously craptastic cpu...

Why has no one asked him about the flickering with the new 11.11b/c drivers in Skyrim?

    blah

Yes i do, because it's not working properly with that. Doesn't matter if you can run the game on 1 card or not.
I payed for 2 cards, so both need to run properly no matter what game i'm talking about.
