I swear if you sit here and beg asking "Does this improve anything?" instead of just testing them yourself I swear I would smack you in the head with a tack hammer

That goes for anybody also that sits here whining about what this driver does, what this driver fixes, etc etc, instead of just installing the damn things and finding out yourself

I don't wish you death, but I do wish a smack upside the head that you not be so god damn freaking lazy and not sit there whining all day long for driver results when you are more then capable of finding out yourself if these drivers do or don't improve anything

So yeah, I glad this made first page, cause the last driver page more then half the posts were people mewling like spoiled milkfed kittens for people to "Post your results" and "What did this driver fix?" and other crap, and honestly I'm sick of it, your posts do fricken nothing for these driver threads when you are more then capable of installing them yourself and seeing if they do or don't fix your problems

Stop sitting around like a pansy waiting for somebody else to do the work for you, get off your duff and find out yourself if new drivers do or don't fix your problems

I said "I swear if" not "You are a jerk" to him

If he simply asked that once, I don't care, but if he starts posting again, and again, and again, braying like a mule for somebody to test out something he is perfectly capable of testing, yes, I would smack some sense into him

People on the net today are inherently lazy, they need everything then, now and in a pretty gold box with red ribbons they can easily digest

Each driver thread falls into the same thing, I post my driver results, people sit around and ask a thousand times "Does this fix X" instead of finding out themselves, more then half of the last thread was people repeatedly asking "Wah wah does this fix COD BO'S?!", and when they don't get answered, they ask it again, and again, and again, something they could have found out themselves in 15 minutes of driver installs

Its this sense of entitlement that everyone else do the testing for them that pisses me off, yes, I get it, you are afraid of ruining your windows install, here's a tip for you, just cause a driver works for them, does not mean it will work for you regardless, so sitting around asking if a driver has "problems" means crap cause until you try it yourself, you will never have a definitive answer to begin with

Consider peoples circumstances...

some people might be browsing the forum while at work and are unable to test a driver, did that ever occur to u? the fact that someone asks for an opinion in a forum (look up definition) does not imply that they are lazy..

i stand by my previous post that you need to get a life.

I'm not reading all that gibberish you wrote valawhatever, you need to go take your nerd-rage out somewhere else. It's extremely common to post what changes are made in a driver when making a thread about one, nothing new or unusual to ask. There are many places on the internet to behave like a lunatic, this isn't one of them, go away.

Does anyone care to tell me where the OP is getting these drivers?
I feel like if he doesn't tell us, they are modded fake ones.

These are official, similar to leaked NVIDIA beta drivers not always coming from their website.

Only downside might be that since they're modded (INF edit for mobility.) people might wonder what that digital signature warning actually means whereas it's fairly harmless.
(Similar to the often encountered warning prompt about the driver not being signed at all with beta driver releases.)

EDIT: The D3D .dll has profiles for Arkham City (AtiDXX32.dll), Men of War Assault Squad and Warhammer Space Marine (ATIUMDAG.dll) plus some titles I am not entirely sure of (ROF.exe and Spartan.exe) plus part of what's in the CAP profiles it seems.
(I have no idea what these do of course, all I can see with this simple hex edit is the profile names at best.)

EDIT: And there's finally a profile for Drakensang.
(Now to get another profile for the addon, ha ha.)

EDIT: ROF seems to be Rise of Flight.
