I just installed a 2tb Samsung drive for storage my question is should I format it as NFTS or leave it as is for storage?

Am thinking about installing linux mint with 30gb and leave the rest blank for storage is that possible?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Yes, you can installing Linux Mint on a first partition and use the rest for storage. For the format, if you want read the storage partition on windows, you must format it in NTFS, if you want just read data with Linux Mint, EXT4 is the best choice

Bye
