I played Borderlands A LOT with friends, and it was great. Alone, it was boring...well it was made to be played with friends anyway
Now I hope that they (gearbox) will get rid of gamespy (the game will probably be with steamworks), and the console port aberrations that plagued the first one (FOV, clunky menu navigation etc...). I don't want to edit .ini files to play correctly a game.

It got me really addicted, playing 14 hours per day for five days straight. Then, suddenly, the addiction was over as fast as it came. Was great fun but with a swoosh it was gone, never thought about it again.

Gonna stick with Rage.
Borderlands was fun with a buddy and all, but got pretty repetitive towards the end.
Anyways, i guess it's worth checking out once it gets released.

I didn't find it boring in SP, I thought it was quite fun.
I think seeing as co-op is the main selling point that in SP they should have an AI companion of a class of your choice so the game isn't as deserted. The dialogue and interaction would add a lot to the game.
Looking forward to it but I'm no sucker, I'm not buying the vanilla game.
I'll wait until it drops to half price or until the GOTY ( or whatever they call it ) version comes out.
Borderlands was twice as good with all the DLC.

Especially that zombie DLC, good times!
I really hope the Borderland 2 ending wont be as unsatisfying and anti-climatic as the first...
I still get a headache thinking about it. What a waste.

Never got into the first at launch, bought the GOTY when it was on steam sale, but didn't have with whom to play it, except 2 friends that already finished it and well.. they got bored, and in sp this game is not appealing. Will play this one at launch though if it's worth it.
