I have an Asrock 939A790GMH motherboard
    Northbridge: AMD 790GX
    Southbridge: AMD SB750

For LAN driver I get the latest OEM drivers from Realtek. Or even ATI/nVidia GFX cards, it's always best to get latest drivers from respective OEM drivers instead of the card's brand like MSI, Asus, Gigabyte etc.
But how about motherboard chipset drivers?

Is installing AMD SB drivers instead of motherboard's manufacturer issued chipset drivers correct?

    Should I...
Install the chipset drivers from the motherboard's manufacturer
    Install the AMD SB drivers
Install both and but install the AMD SB drivers over it?

I install them from the motherboard manufacturers site, but use driver genius to update them

On asrock's site. Their amd chipset driver is version 8.63. The installer is based on catalyst and it's very outdated. It's a "all in one" driver with sb/nb driver, Usb filter, raid/ahci driver.

I don't see any over device drivers in the installer.
