Use this topic to post your current setup of screens, icons, wallpapers, what you're using! If you need instructions on how to do so, here you go!

Android
With root- Just download an app called drocap2! https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result
It'll save on to your SD card.
Download ShootMe! https://market.android.com/details?i...me.local&hl=en
Without root- You need the Android SDK on your machine to do this.
http://www.simplehelp.net/2009/07/21...-from-windows/

Ios
Quickly press and release the On/Off Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. A flash of the screen lets you know the screenshot was taken. The screenshot is added to the Camera Roll album.

PocketPC/Windows Mobile 6.5
For PPC users (or Windows Mobile 6.5) you can use SPB Screenshot program which is completely free. Thanks to scoutingwraith!

Any other platforms that require tutorials on how to take a screenshot, I'll add if there's demand.

Heres mine...

Windows Mobile 6.5 (Energy Rom Series)

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Android 2.3

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Its funny how my Android installation goes through my battery for a whole day and a half while my WM6.5 can go for a 3 days. (mind you i do some medium browsing on the net with the device.)

EDIT: @vbetts
For PPC users (or Windows Mobile 6.5) you can use SPB Screenshot program which is completely free. For WP7 users though i am not sure.

I'll add that to the first post.

On the battery situation that's a Linux thing, the kernel's are no good at optimizing battery life. L4 kernels might help out, but there isn't any Android kernel out there using L4.

My Galaxy S (FYI back + menu takes screenshots). No UI look modifications or custom widgets. Rooted and file system converted to EXT4, latest SpeedMod kernel.

Yeah, looks GREAT, I'd love to have a decent equalizer on my phone.

Don't tell me it has to be rooted to use...

It's just called Equalizer and the news widget is part of Pulse.

Cheers Doug, just another question, does the equalizer actually HAVE an effect on say the ringtones, movies, music while being played back both on the loudspeaker as well as on your head/earphones?

If it does that would be great! It would be nice to have a decent standalone equalizer that actually works.

Should it be any great, let us know and I will try it out later on this evening...

Sorry just seen this

Erm I couldn't say tbh, I'm using DSPManager as an EQ as well and I'm not sure if they conflict or anything, but it has 'Headset' 'Phone Speaker' and 'Bluetooth Device' EQ settings. So I guess it does work with the loud speaker, probably not well enough to make it bearable though
