These new Tesla drivers have a driver date of May 31, 2011.
The Quadro 275.36 drivers have a driver date of May 26, 2011.
The GeForce 275.33 drivers have a driver date of May 20, 2011.

It is highly likely that these 270.90 drivers have some additional game fixes/optimizations for the newest games and possibly some better SLI-compatibility for some of the newer games because this release was finished 5 days after the 275.36.

Im going to test, no inf is needed as laptopvideo2go already provides one.

I'm curious to see the driver branch and profiles.

Red Faction Armageddon single gpu performance seems much better, but i dont have any proof of it, just more the "feel" of the game seems more steady.

In Black Ops I like the colors and they're rendered better at default settings than with the 275.33 and 275.36 for which a little tweaking with gamma and brightness was needed.

These drivers don't score quite as high in Heaven Benchmark as the 275.33 and 275.36 but MinFPS values are the same.

I'm seeing that lights and shadows are getting better than ever. The flamethrower in Black Ops now does the deeper flame color as the 275.36 does (although the flame effect may not pop out at ya as much) and there are reflections off of the black gloves. I thought I was noticing some extra shadow things going on and some texture detail I'd not ever seen before in Heaven Benchmark.

These drivers feel really smooth. Overall these drivers feel like they're running much lighter loadwise and with lower temps on my system than the 275 family drivers. I might keep these on my system for at least a short time to check em out more.

The same as with Red Faction, I got no proof, but Dirt3 "feels" better on these compared to 275.33. Its hard to get proof with vsync enabled, but I can say it like this. With 275.33 I could have these real slow downs at parts where gpu usage went down and fps dropped to 20-30´s. With these drivers, those slowdowns never happened?

yea it could be, Tesla are known to have better smoothness to it (stabler fps and more even gpu load), i noticed it every time; like by 263.06, 263.15 and 270.61.. Earlier were a disaster though like 260.xx, 259.xx..

I don't think so, the newer date of this tesla driver, not means that have some game fixes/optimizations, not 100%

well they don't have the same boost like 275.xx in 3dmark2011 (~400p lower by graphics score) and Dirt3, but i'll take smoothness over speed any day..

well these look very promising atm, they fixed some weird artifact glitch in Cod4 mw it happend after a while - using 275.27, probably similar effect as by BFBC2 artifact glitch after certain time and

Dirt3 didint crash :pc1::nerd: but i had few tweaks,
    1. deleted both sys_info and sys_cfg files in dirt3 save dir..
    2. i used Vista no service pack compatibility mode for dirt3 exe shortcut and for all users (same with admin. rights)
    3. started the game set ultra profile, except left 4xmsaa alone and then quit the game
    4. i enhanced Dirt3 aa in nvcpl with 8xqaa, 16xaf, i even "modded" tree and object lod to 2.5 in cfg and it didn't crash (its for more distant objects/trees)

finally..hopefully it stays this way. Idk could be driver, could be all those tweaks. Im gonna stay with these Tesla for a while, also yea colours are more vivid/detailed, filtering not so much, on avg something between quadro and geforce.
    :)

He was typing in blue before..

Yes he thinks he is special and above everyone else :frown:.. He was asked by many members to stop typing in colour, yet he does anyway just a different one.
