The trailer looks great graphically... I would have to agree its exceptional! but on the right hand side there is video of the gameplay footage (official), and its no where near the trailer quality. The gameplay footage is reminiscent of Farcry 1 (maybe with the HD texture pack)... very obvious its console with its soft textures. If the PC version looked as good as the trailer, I think PC users would be very happy. If the PC version looked like the gameplay footage, it would be very disappointing from a graphics point of view.

If the PC version is much closer to the gameplay footage than the trailer footage, its a bit deceiving of Ubisoft and would piss off a lot of people buying the PC version who saw the trailer expecting to get that. The gameplay footage truly is absolutely nothing like the gameplay footage.

this looks so much like the original farcry, i can't focking wait to grab it...awesome screens also, a bit touched by photoshop but pretty original.

If you look at the gameplay footage, you're correct, even graphically. I truly hope the PC version is NOTHING like the gameplay footage and looks like the trailer, otherwise they won't be getting my money.

you want the PC version to look like the trailer!! the trailer is CGI..you won't see that level of detail with Dunia engine and by a money whore like Ubisoft.

Might have none at all like Rayman Origins which ironically will be the first DRM free game in years, from any publisher, though I think it will depend on the sales of other Ubisoft until then.

Kinda looking forward to this, but I pretty much hated the first two games so I don’t know why lol.

Wow, this actually sounds really good, maybe a game to restore my faith in FPS's.

Visually it also look very nice, even on the 360 it's much better than the original Far Cry, bit too colourful and cartoony though, but i'm sure i can change that.

But what you fail to understand is the fact it looks similar to FC1 is what gets many of us rubbing our crotches even more. FC1 was a landmark game for the genre and if FC3 can reimagine that gaming experience in an open world environment for 2012 then all I can say is

FarCry is going home.

finally after a long time, it seems Ubisoft is making a quality game..now make Prince of Persia based on the old trilogy and make sure the next Splinter Cell is better then Chaos Theory..
