hmmm, getting around 25-30fps with a mix of ultra/high... trying high now... Any clues as to what is the main performance killer apart from ubersampling?

As the readme mentions SSAO is pretty demanding as is the higher shadow resolutions but that's pretty much nearly always the heavier visual options in recent games.
EDIT: I get between 30 - 50 FPS usually, fluctuates a bit but with everything on it looks pretty good, seeing your hardware that low framerate is a bit strange.
(You did disable ubersampling did you? config I use was posted on the previous page amongst the other images.)
EDIT: Oops sorry maybe you are using 1920x1200 or higher resolution.

At a guess SSAO.
I did see a setting for limiting dangling somethings or other, which I left at disabled... anyone know what that is?

I'm running 1080p... I'll look into you're config later, just tried high settings with SSAO enabled, still around 30fps... Work now...

You can only use a COMPLETED save game so if you didn't finish the game then you'll have to download someone else's save instead. I think someone posted one earlier on in this or the other (locked) thread.

I don't really know how much it alters the story but the choices I made showed up relatively early.
Click to show spoiler
Had Ard'Ayene - best steel sword - and that silver sword equivalent of it plus raven armor at start, funny how the shovel in my last set of images outclasses said sword in damage, and Adda was mentioned as surviving and marrying into Redaynia royalty.

The GOG.com version weighed in at a 9.7 GB download altogether but installs to well over 12 GB although I only checked that while it was still installing (near the end though) so it may be larger.

Just got my hard copy of the premium edition thought the box would be bigger. But have to wait another 3 hours to get off from work before I get playing.
Is the register process the same as any other game? (just put in cd-key register 10sec and finish)

My GAME retail Premium Edition also arrived this morning. I have to say that it is a beautiful package considering it cost just £22.49, even better IMO than the excellent The Witcher Enhanced Edition I bought a couple of years ago. Very impressed with it.

Runs ok for me on high, getting around 30fps... 30fps seems pretty smooth in this game, its not a shooter where you need super high fps anyway. Your gpu is a fair bit less powerful then mine so... I reckon you'll be ok with medium/high. The game looks stunning btw... Hate having to work 12 hours today btw, I wanna go home to play some more!

I have 6950s on crossfire on my other rig thankfully, I figure if my 5750 can't handle it, there's always my 6950s. IF my 6950s can't handle it, I'll be like total WTF.

It doesn't suppert crossfire yet I think. But even one 6950 will run it nicely, its faster than my gpu and you probs have a better cpu in that rig too so you have nothing to worry about.

Hard copy of this is just so much better though! You get a proper box and a lot of goodies thrown in (map, game guide, paper art, coin, soundtrack to name a few)
