I was already disappointed when AMD took down the 11.4c Hotfix page, but I'll definitely test this one out.

So this is the newest driver out there? I still have the latest 11.4 beta, which I think has newer 3d driver than the 11.4c hotfix but older CCC.
Will test this one and see if it performs better.

Opening a java app, or viewing a random video (avi, sd format, avivo codecs not installed, dxva disabled) STILL triggers the 3d clocks.
I'm seriously fed up with this thing...

Mouse lag is still there, seems like a minor performance drop, but it makes things look better. like it enhanced the look of furmark quite a bit w/ same settings.

Too bad :/ Though i think we need drivers that have a driver version later than 27 April for the mouse lag to be fixed, as that is the date @CatalystCreator made a twitter message about a possible fix.

Thanks Asder!

Can somebody compare these to the 11.4 WHQL and 11.4c hotfix? Seems the 11.4c hotfix is newer but still cannot access it.

Once the drivers are installed (after initial install rebooting) does this driver fix the dcom error in event viewer once you shut down (or after reboot)?

I think picture quality has improved over the older 11.4 drivers. I think the new Steadyvideo may also do a good job, its hard to tell with what I just watched. I do believe it is smoother though.

Points to note:
- Still uses the non SP1 2010 runtimes. I feel its a little 'slack' they haven't updated!
- 32 bit apps can't run x64 exe's or dll's (they can run through x64 drivers, thats different). Likewise x64 apps can't call 32 bit exe's or dll's. This point is important because ONLY the x64 OpenCL, AVIVO, and WMVdecoder are installed by default on x64. In reality, both the 32 bit and x64 of each of Opencl, AVIVO and WMVdecoder needs to be installed.
- The 32 bit OpenCL, AVIVO, and WMVDecoder can be installed separately, but to install a newer version you must first run the OLD installer, and click on uninstall, and only then are you allowed to install the new one.

TIP:
If playing video back on a tv with some form of motion compensation (typically only seen on 100/120hz or higher TV's) I wouldn't use SteadyVideo . A lot of LCD tv's are shocking when it comes to motion though, I'm guessing this should help a lot with those. Then again, a lot of people can't see video shudderness and flickering, it seems some people are more attuned to that than others. Also note that the refresh rates, such as 600Hz in plasma is marketing trickery, its really the equivalent of 200hz in LCD.

Also, keep the video settings in the CCC low, don't be over-zealous with the edge-enhancement etc!

How do you install them on 7955? Via control panel or install manager?
