Default New to Rivatuner - 05-02-2011, 01:23 | posts: 1

Hello, I just installed Rivatuner,I'm brand new to this I know very little,So sorry and Thank you,I watched all the videos of how to install and use,But mine doesn't have all the things that Nick was talking about ,,for most , in the Main window under the videocard and monitor ,it says ,,no additional info available,,under customize there are only 3 choices,,low-level refresh rate settings,low-level desktop color schemes, graphics subsystem diagnostic report,,it has my driver info all listed and correct,,also it says i need to update Rivatuner ,is there a auto update feature ?or how doyou update ? It says that it's version 2.42 I think that that is the most cuurent ,,not sure . basicaly for now I just need this tool for video card temp and fan,,until I learn about tweaking,,and to run the desktop gadget,,,so any help would be greatly appreciated,, Thanks DOHayseedHello all, I'm new to the program and the forums.

I have a question about GPU temperature monitoring. As I've read a bit on the forum, you have to go under main, click on the arrow next to customize and click on the hardware monitoring Icon.

My problem Is that I dont have that hardware monitoring Icon. When I open Rivatuner 2.24, It has the message: "Warning! RivaTuner has not been tested with the current installed display driver".

How do I fix this? Is there a specific patch I need? Is something wrong with my display driver? Here is a screenshot of what my RivaTuner looks like:

Thanks very much for anyone who can help!

Unfortunately Riva is abandonware for a while.
Try MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision. They are Riva little cousins.
