Default Softmod Geforce 7300gt to Quadro FX 560 - 04-28-2011, 20:17 | posts: 1

Hi everyone, my name is Yan and i,m new here

I'm a 3d artist, on a rather old machine (that I'm changing as soon as budget permit hehe) and I just aquired a BFG Geforce 7300 GT AGP 512mb, that i would like to spftmod to a Quadro (for 3DS Max).

i'm following the TechARP tutorial but not getting any result...

I have RivaTuner 2.24

From the nv4_disp.inf file, I have found that my card hare the same chip(the G73) as a Quadro FX 560 so it should be doable.

NVIDIA_G73.DEV_0393.1 = "NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT"
NVIDIA_G73.DEV_039E.1 = "NVIDIA Quadro FX 560"

But once in RivaTune, in the customize button -> "Low-level system tweaks", i dont see the NVStrap tab that permit to go further the tutorial...

I am missing something ?

I'm using the 270.61-desktop-win7-winvista-32bit drivers (the lastest), is it a mistake ? should i use lower drivers ? Is it because the G73 isnt supported by NVStrap ?

Any tip will be greatly appreciated, thanks all

Yan
