Well just a couple of notes...As far as Mafia II and Heaven 2.5 benches, this driver as far as FPS is, for all intents and purposes, identical to the 267.24/26/31 GeForce. The one notable difference is of the a fore mentioned drivers, the XXX.24 had the least amount of texture glitching the the Heaven 2.5 Bench.

hm, so adding your gpu strings doesnt work?

i returned to 198 again, but i noticed NFSHP runs much better with forced aa @ 267.17Q compared to 266.58 or 266.77.. or both 267.2x..

you can try this 198.34 x64 its a complete driver of laptop2go (13 sept. 2010),
http://www.mediafire.com/?dpurnslcv3f3qnc
I used 266.77 strings, btw these have cuda 3.01 and no nx services- i think you might need those for dpc issue im not 100% sure though... driver is ~60mb, you can use nhancer and get almost all latest games, it has bulletstorm profile too, well that's if you get it working

btw there is no 3dvision, no nview, no hd audio, no physx - but works with latest, if you need any of that then dl it from http://forums.laptopvideo2go.com/top...nvidia-quadro/ just copy inf from my file or those extra files from laptop2go driver.

it's funny reading posts saying that quadro drivers have better IQ or higher fps.
some people explain that using quadro drivers give them higher IQ in the expense of their card's performace which is more convincing(but I still doubt it). what's more hilarious is that people are claiming that it gave them a performance boost and at the same time higher IQ. 2-3% difference in performance is still within the margin of error and can't be considered significant. will you be satisfied with a 0.4 increase in fps? there are lots of variables that makes a run of benchmark differ from any previous one. and for the IQ thing... when some know that they're using quadro drivers, something in their brain kicks in and immediately tells others that it has better IQ. the users claiming a difference in IQ should be the one giving proof not the other way around.

there is a need for a thread, or an article in guru3d to finally put an end to this myth.

users not giving a hard look will just brand this post a "blasphemy" or a post by a troll or by nvidia.

This Wikipedia article here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nvidia_Quadro

can help folks determine if people are really seeing benefits or if they're mythtaken. In part it says:

[Quoting from article]
In introducing Quadro, NVIDIA was able to charge a premium for essentially the same graphics hardware in professional markets, and direct resources to properly serve the needs of those markets. To differentiate their offerings, NVIDIA used driver software and firmware to enable features vital to segments of the workstation market; e.g., high performance anti-aliased lines and two-sided lighting were reserved for the Quadro product.

Many of these cards use the same core as the game- and action-oriented GeForce video cards by NVIDIA. Those cards that are identical to the desktop cards can be software modified to identify themselves as the equivalent Quadro cards and this allows optimized drivers intended for the Quadro cards to be installed on the system.[1] While this may not offer all of the performance of the equivalent Quadro card,[citation needed] it can improve performance in certain applications, but may require MAXtreme for the speed improvements.

The performance difference comes in the firmware controlling the card. Given the importance of speed in a game, a system used for gaming can shut down textures, shading, or rendering after only approximating a final output—in order to keep the overall frame rate high. The algorithms on a CAD-oriented card tend rather to complete all rendering operations, even if that introduces delays or variations in the timing, prioritising accuracy and rendering quality over speed.

[End of quoting from article]
