Memorialized. Not very 'Supermanish' of you to start a thread complaining about no help in getting an INF file then editing out you asking for one.. LOL

Well using my Setup, with my card, Quadros not only give the best performance, but also are the most stable. You should read how the 265.90's fix almost all my problems in DX10 games/Win7. Normal drivers are ok, but quadros gives me way better performance and stability

TBH is a sensible question though badly worded by him (actually was more of a statement he made) !

A Quadro Driver shouldn't be faster than desktop gaming card drivers as its all set for very High IQ not speed same as the card is suits !

So something is wrong IMO if peeps get better FPS out them than the desktop gaming drivers !

Only Nvidia will know why and possibly the drivers are the same but somehow not lol.

I do not think the drivers are classed as unified as they do not install without hacks unless its all BS from Nvidia !

I personally never touch any driver needing modded to install as I see no point as I have no real issues with any other drivers unless there is a global bug that all get !

Well i would hope that people can stay on topic and enjoy the new release drivers.
But like i said on my part, Quadros seems to have fix every issue i had with DX10 games and game performance is way better.

People here have been using quadro drivers for years with positive results. Usually for seeming to have better IQ than std desktop drivers, whether thats placebo effect or not, many swear by them. As you appear not to have been here long and therefore not exposed to people with experience with quadro drivers, your comment would appear to be stupid.

Wanna explanation - no problem

Once I've installed Quadro drivers with modded inf. I had some problems with CTDs, Errors in windows' log and so on. I've sent my win log to official Asus worker. They've analized that and he said that I've got a lot of errors because Mozilla back-up and Quadro drivers which are not desktop one. Make a conclusion if you can!

P.S. kids - np

People use what works for them, Every PC is different.
If something does not work for you then dont use it, Does not mean it will not work for someone else.

This is a Quadro thread, if youve got nothing usefull to say about this set (I.E performance/benchmarks) then dont post, lets keep the thread informative to people who use them.

People can get errors and issues with desktop drivers just as well. Never had a prob with quadros. Stupidest thing for anyone to assume is that if they encounter a problem with graphics drivers, then it must apply to everyone else. A driver may work beautifully and flawlessly with one individual but be absolute crap with another. This is the nature of the beast.

So you installed a modded driver, it had problems and your solution is to write ASUS about it?

I don't believe your story. (my conclusion)

@The General, learn to mod the driver yourself, Nvidia drivers are the easiest to mod.

Don't believe me. It's your decision, troll. I've wrote to Asus as their P67 MBs BIOSes are not finished prodcuts. So I've sent him my log to check what the problem is and to make such bots like you happy if Asus would find an error and fixed it in the next BIOS release. Such story here ya

Testing these new 267.17 Quadro drivers out in CoD Black Ops I'm immediately struck by the stunning IQ of the Quadro drivers over the IQ of the 267.26 Ti drivers I had just uninstalled. I'd say the IQ of the 267.17 drivers is same or better than the IQ of the 267.05 Quadro drivers.

The 2nd thing that strikes me is that the 267.17 Quadro drivers feel way less smooth than the 267.26 Ti drivers.

When I do my run-around-Nuketown-by-myself test with Fraps on it sees pretty much the same min, max, and avg fps as all the other drivers do. When I go into an actual multiplayer game again I'm noticing the much-improved IQ over the 267.26 but definitely the 267.17 drivers are less smooth particularly in those sudden closeup gunfights in situations where yesterday I was owning with the 267.26 Ti drivers.

I'm not sure if the 267.17 drivers perform worse than the 267.05 Quadro drivers in actual gameplay. Perhaps so. Or maybe it might seem to be that way cuz I was on the 267.26 drivers before testing these 267.17's.

I'll probably roll back to the 267.26 drivers.

Edit: I have realized I had forgotten to set the NVidia drivers to do High Quality. After setting them to do High Quality and setting max prerendered frames to 3 instead of 1 I'm doing much better in actual Black Ops gameplay.

Question: Do you folks that use Quadro drivers for gameplay keep PhysX installed or no?

yes that's what i saw with certain Quadro's too (not all though), IQ is nice but sometimes they aren't so smooth, just like 265.90 they weren't smooth compared std geforce or tesla, well at least for me...

INF: x64 vista/win7 international (all gpus except 560Ti, sorry)
http://www.mediafire.com/?vuvbrop8rvxncvo

@ general
i made a video (uploading as we speak ), its for x64 and its basically the same with x32 os, if not even easier.. just open inf with all gpu's (like i did with 267.24) then copy those inf's like on video and that's it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKiS9uTqjGA

gl modding it

PRO tip for everyone: when you see a troll post, ignoring it will leave it as the only non informative post. just adressing a troll post clutters the thread and IMO, pushes people with actual thread worthy posts away from not just the thread, but guru3d as well. I know from personal experience that when I see a lot of offtopic arguing in a driver thread, even if i have some useful info to post, i wont post because im annoyed by thread craping.

On topic, thx for the heads up on the drivers. will compare them to the 267.24's i curently have installed and post back how they work on my rig.

EDIT: lol hunter at 198.34 drivers in your vid. you still use them sometimes?
