Cannot Renew IP address -

Hi, I cant seem to renew the ip address and join the wireless network in my home. Every time I try to repair it sticks on 'renewing IP address' then eventually fails. The IP settings are set to automatic and my other laptops connect to the wireless straightaway. Just not this one. I have also Tried resetting the winsock in cmd prompt but no luck there.
Really keen on lanning Titan Quest

Ok i am now connected to the router but i cannot access the internet. I am using the utility that came with the card but no luck. The wireless card is a Linksys WMP54G. it says ' Connected to access point but no internet connection found' or something like that.

When a router assigns its IPs to clients (the function of a DHCP), it attaches a "lease time", which is the amount of time a client can use that IP before the IP expires and must be renewed. Under normal circumstances your computer should attempt to renew its lease before it expires. Maybe your PC isn't renewing its IP automatically.
Try raising the lease time on the router, anyways.

Thanks PHJF but i already tried renewing the DHCP's but no luck. Was going to try a format or Modem hard reset but they were last choice options. I heard that Linksys wireless cards dont like networks that are unsecure, There isnt any WEP/WPA but the SSID is hidden. (tried enabling that to check and still didnt work) Could that be the case?
Also, i cannot access the wpa settings on my router (belkin wireless G model) Due to a Duplicate Administrator error which wont seem to go away...
At least your IP renews Mr Bigtime, Mine Wont Renew, cant even connect to the network lol

Ok, have you tried just setting your card's IP to something valid and using it like that? Also, are you using Windows Zero Config or the software that comes with the card?
