i always disable blur gloom dof etc. in any game
does the game has hdr or is AO replacing it sort of?
coz i still want the richness and depth in the game with disabled gloom

i read that with newer drivers guys have better results just disable ingame aa and set normal msaa in catalyst, not so blurry and stuff..

No idea, try it and see if it works? Never heard anyone complain about it before so I assume it works on Nv cards too.

trying to enjoy this. Just finished downloaded today. Played with settings, most are on High-Medium nothing is ultra, AO is off, Bloom is off, FXAA is off, vsync is on or off on test. I cant seem to stop the thing jumping or stuttering bad? when i spin or straffe its worse but it can hop forward when running straight?

geez, getting pc games just right is a headache.

Checked my resources whilst in game with most things turned down

I have a saphire 5850 with 1GB and 4GB ram (upto date drive) + 1055T @ 3.7, temps are fine, load isnt more than 62% on the hardest bits graphically and im no where near the limit on VRAM. temps are ok too considering its a warm day.

Any ideas?

*EDIT in game Core 1 on the cpu is about 100% all the time all the other cores are 60%-80% so am i cpu limited ? changed affinity a bit and no real difference.

baseengine ini @ the bottom of the page in system settings

The settings you put in baseengine.ini do nothing unless you delete the actual config files.
Config files used by the game are in My Games/RedOrchestra2/ROGame/Config.

Try disabling the frame rate smoothing option in vid settings.

The game has always been CPU heavy and always gave me low GPU usage. Doesn't use much vid mem either. When I had a Q9650 @ 4.2ghz I used to get about 35-70 fps at 1920x1200 FXAA and everything ultra except motionblur disabled. When I got a I7 I'm always above 70 now.
