Yeah, but it does look half decent already.

I don't imagine it will be anything original or ground breaking gameplay wise, so hoping the atmosphere is spot on, as well as the sound and visuals, heavily modified UE3 though.

Trailer looks very tense, i like it.

I really hope they'll make it more of a survival title,
and not just a stupid run-and-gun corridor shooter.

I still have my copy. Playing as the marine was awesome! Remember my first play through, especially going through the vents! Kept me on the edge

Will be getting this, hope it is good.

I'm kind of curious to know why they chose lv-426,because the whole planet was vaporized when the colony exploded.Looking forward to this game and eager to buy it.

Not the whole planet was, only the site and ... 30km around it?

The titan ship should still be intact (mentioned in ALIENS roleplaying game) and perhaps this game takes place in another site?

Imo LV-426 is the name of the planet and not a station/planetary site?

Nice to see a return of the shoulder lamps. This doesn`t remind me of AVP 2 by Monolith. Go figure. The Marines actually LOOK properly designed. No red tampon shoulder pads or kneepads for example.

And these Marines do not look anime` either. hehhhehe Thankfully.

The should lamps were also in AvP2010 unless there's more to em that i'm not aware of.

@])rStrangeloven
ever though of that I kind forgot that in the movie bishop said the blast radius would be the size of Nebraska.I wonder though if this other colony is a like a top secrete site that wasn't marked in the computers.

Wow, its awesome - isnt it? If you also watched GT.TV on Gametrailers you can clearly see Randy Pitchford is a REALLY great ALIENS fan, he's totally thrilled by his game.

4 PLAYER COOP through the story mode, thats plain awesome. AVP3 only had us players locked into a room and then made you survive enemy waves - not much COOP in there. So i guess Gearbox will show them how its done.

Also the detail is amazing - you can see so many familiar scenes from the movie, the whole station seems to be totally original.

Only thing i dont get is how they can walk around freely right after the atmosphere processor blew up , i thought that was a nuclear blast with high radiation etc. I guess not.

Anyway, looks VERY promising

From what I remember, in the movie they said they'd return to the Sulaco and nuke the site from orbit.
But instead, Ripley set off the self destruct sequence in the atmosphere processor. So, while it was a huge explosion, it wasn't nuclear.
Had they nuked it from the Sulaco, yeah, there would've been far too much radiation for them to just be walking around.

Dreadfull? That game was great, and I played all the AvPs since the 90s.
What do you consider boring objectives? What cause its linear? Please the adrenaline rush alone as a marine being swarmed by aliens proves its a good game.

that sounds cool, l4d elements ehh? I do think the Predator hunt mode and infestation mode were cool in AvP 2010 multiplayer, deathmatch of course was and is boring.

Ohh god..... a 5th movie? Arent they giving us enough with AvP films? Requiem was cool how they tied the Weyland to the Yutani at the end. But the first AvP film was a teenage version of the franchises, gimme a break.

Lets see if the original director of the first film can pull off a miracle with a 5th alien film? Are Sigorney Weaver and Micheal Beign and Bill Paxton gonna be in them too?
