Hi, I got both the Auzentech Home Theater and the Prelude. I noticed under the Daniel K drivers thread that there are 2 versions for reach pack. There is the "AuzenUAA pack" and the "AuzenWDM" pack. What's the difference and which one should I pick for me soundcards?

I'm having that weird crackling noise and thinking that the DK drivers might help.

this software/driver pack is unofficial, not supported by creative labs.
Use it at your own risk.

sb x-fi titanium pci-e install disc 1.0 supports the following model of sound blaster x-fi titanium pci-e (oem/retail):

- sb0880, sb0881, sb0882, sb0883, sb0886, sb0889

operating systems supported: 32-bit and 64-bit editions of windows 7 rtm / vista sp2 / xp sp3

included in the installation disc:

- driver 2.16.0004.6 whql (11/18/2009)

- 3dmidi player 1.11.01
- alchemy 1.41.02
- automode switcher 1.01.01
- audio console 3.00.46 (installed silently by the driver)
- console launcher 2.61.43
- diagnostics 5.11.02
- dolby digital live pack 3.00.06
- dts connect pack 1.03.08

- entertainment center 5.10.21
- karaoke player 2.11.08
- software autoupdate 1.40.04
- smart recorder 2.41.26
- sound blaster plugin for media center 3.10.32 / 64-bit: 3.20.11
- soundfont bank manager 3.21.02
- thx setup console 3.50.05

- volume panel 2.21.13
- wavestudio 7.12.00

additional software:
- mediasource player 5.26.02 (complete with all plugins)
- media toolbox 6.02.10 trial version

release notes:

this installation disc is meant to be a direct replacement for the disc bundled with your card.

It includes all the updated software available and installs flawlessly.

The driver included is an oem version, fairly stable and whql certified, which means it will install without any prompts or security warnings, just like an official works.

The only feature not supported by this driver is voicefx, not really missed by most users.

known issues:

1) mediasource, media toolbox, ddl and dts connect packs are installed by the main installer, but to uninstall the applications/packs, you need to remove them individually from program and features (win7/vista) or add/remove programs (xp). This behaviour is by design.

2) if you want to do a custom install of mediasource and/or media toolbox, uncheck the boxes in the main installer and run the installers manually.

- for creative mediasource, run \cms\setup\setup.exe
- for creative media toolbox, run mtb6\setup\setup.exe

Hi,

the difference between WDM and UAA is UAA doesnt include "what you hear" and WDM is not for Prelude.

Quote:
From UAA suite

-This is the same Auzen Prelude Beta1 UAA driver previously available, now in a complete pack.
-The UAA native driver should work better than the compatibility mode WDM driver from Creative.
-This set is recommended for users having crackling and static issues with NVIDIA nForce chipsets.
-Decoder, DVD Audio and WhatUHear are not available and cannot be enabled in the driver included.
