So according to that, Shepard wasn't K.I.A. (Killed In Action), but rather FFTB (Finally Found The Body)?

LOL.

I´ve almost finish the game thought...
My impressions... the game is a whole step back from the first one, most of things have been shortened somehow...

No allies equipment change at all (step back), very very short zones to explore, the whole story on the same place why?? (step back), the same dungeons again and again, repetitive missions...

It is not a bad game after all, the history is fair good and the combat has evolved so much, but overall is not half as good the first game was for me.

Aioras, almost exactly as my thoughts... Right now I'm level 18.

The game is quite big and the plot very good/interesting. Also I really would like more/different maps but haven't play DA 1 so maybe is better... Because, obviously, I can't tell about what you think they didn't make it right ( back-steps ).

I really love it anyway. Started with Warrior ( Two Handed ) and next will be Rogue. I'm going to play right now! See ya!

I didn't even know what's the top level of the character till recently and two times when I killed the first two bosses thought the game was ending... Surprisingly the game still continues!

http://www.shacknews.com/article/682...age-2-dlc-item

More armaments for Hawke's mobile armory or wherever he stores all that stuff.
(As if there wasn't enough items already plus the pre-order stuff and extras like the Emporium, similar fault with the initial Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2 DLC though.)

The next Dragon Age game i buy i'll be sure to test it first, DA2 has no replayability..the repetitive zones kills it..

As someone who hasn't played the 1st one i gotta say i'm really liking it so far, well worth the £4.99 (i really paid £9.99 but i put the other £4.99 for ME2 ).

With the high res pack it looks great!

Nothing about that in the notes. Might still be an SLI thing that needs patching.

Epic patch, good to see they fixed a lot of bugs. I noticed the absense of the bug where the 5 evil tome's quest could not be completed if you ONLY read the last one. Either they need to change the quest description...or they need to fix it. Unless I read the 'changelog' incorrectly.

Another big plus is the 'Combat audio has been rebalanced so that it is no longer louder than exploration and dialogue audio'

It was so loud I would have to crank effects and music down to 3/10 and have dialogue at 10/10 just so when I get into battles I wouldn't have to lower to volume by 15-20 dB.

Now I can crank it back up and leave it be.

The overall volume gain is still too low i the game imo. I have to turn it up louder on my amp to match the volume of other games. It's too quiet overall and too loud in battles so hopefully what they mean is that the 'non battle' audio was increased rather than vice versa so I can have it at a lower ( on my amp ) albeit more consistent volume.

I finished the first game 9 or so times. I have 300 hours for DAO, played the second one just the 4 for now. Patch changes a lot of the broken quests and such. If it was not for school I would go back and start it back up. Will have to wait till it calms down some. The world of Dragon Age is great, I love the lore and how everything fits. Great stuff.

İts good to read ur comment man. As u said u played it alot so u have right to talk about it. I love da series too as a lord of the rings fan. Da1 was great ,2 is good too. Something different. Sound acting, cinetaics etc makes u feel the world.

DA2 is miles better than DA1. After patch 1.3 which has some mighty impressive changes I think it will be right up there with the best.

I've finished it twice and stopped my third playthrough because I was grinding too much ( by grinding I don't mean pointless enemy encounters, I mean 10hr game sessions etc )

You are lucky to play DA2 before a good game; I played DA before DA2, comparatively DA2 sucks ballz..and the new DLC..LOL..lack luster comparatively against buying the DLC vs any other game.

I would rather playing Witcher 2 again; than play the DLC.

The DA2 DLC trailer/interview didn't generate ANY**..I repeat...ANY** curiosity in me to play DA2 for that DLC alone is downright discouraged.

(Bioware come on!, if you don't like EA...switch companies)

Well its wasn't a great game for me, but...

Unlike in that Demons Souls wannabe button smasher about the guy in thin leather paints,

in DA2 there has been at least SOME thought put into combat system.

You get to strategize a bit, have to think once in a while, use terrain(well obstacles tbh) and positioning, and combos are not product of random clicking,

Also you actually get more then 3 spells... those little things
