Default Driver Sweeper 2.1.0 still misses some of ATI Registry Entries - 06-06-2010, 13:34 | posts: 210 | Location: can't remember

Driver Sweeper missed on some of ATI registry entries, so i had to manual delete each one of them, cause it seemed, it also can cause conflict with new driver, one of them related to the overdrive entry, i don't know what the rest of it related to, i forgot to backup those registry so that i can show it in here, but next time i upgrade driver, i hope to remember to back it up, but it's not that hard to miss, all you got to do is search ATI in the registry.

so please fix this in the next version, so that all ATI registry entries all deleted.

It also misses deleting the AMD External Events Utility in services (atiesrxx.exe). And plenty of files in c: drive.

C:\Program Files\ATI
C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies
C:\Program Files (x86)
C:\Windows\System32\drivers
C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository

Last time i removed drivers, ati install manager remowed all ati's dlls in system32 folder while driver sweeper left them untouched lol
Suprisingly, uninstalling drivers alone in devicve manager also work well.

Works good however some things DRiver Cleaner picks up that sweeper doest and vice versa, I also use NFR or aka NASTY FILE REMOVER as well.

I use all three, If I install a modded driver, I use regseeker and manual delete stuff.

Remember you can create custom filters for any missing entries. I made these not for nothing so everyone can uses it. If there is a new list of custom entries email them to me so I can add them. I don't have ATi myself anymore so I cannot update these myself.
