Not a bad card then, trades blows with the 5830, problem is nvidia need to get the pricing right, as its probably not worth what they want for it.

Agreed, just don't get who would buy this card at that price. Not a very convincing product from Nvidia!

It does go toe to toe with the Radeon HD 5830, but still falls short on price and availability. Seems like AMD delivered a massive blow at NVIDIA this round.

Initial opening price may be different to what it settles down to later on. If it gets down to $200-225, Nvidia should have a winner.

If it can be unlocked to 470, it's not that bad. Anyway, at least for me, this card shows that GF100 yields are pretty bad and they have to disable bad clusters in order to sell them.

or an even cheaper way to go is the 5770 for cf u talking about £240 were as 1 465 costs about 265 o drear nv

Not a bad card in terms of performance but the price it´s simply too close to the 5850 that´s a better card in every aspect.
I would like too know more about the the card working with the BIOS from the 470, does it perform like an 470, does it unlock the disabled shaders? An GPU-Z screenshot would be much appreciated.

I’m definitely going to get three GTX 465 to replace my existing GTX 260,but I think I’m going to wait for the prices to come down just like I waited for the GTX 260 to tumble down from 300 to 119 pounds as the competition gets really tough between ATI and NVIDIA. Great review guys and it show how the midrange cards can give you decent performance for a reasonable price, honestly guy graphic card for the price of 400 UK pound is really ridicules you can get a PS3 255G for 280£ and I believe when a graphic card exceed the price of a game console it’s just too much of a good thing after all the graphic card was designed to play games.

^ 2 in sli scale much better than 3. Plus you could get 2 470's for the price of 3 465s and which may offer better performance.

Terrible card for a terrible price. If it was a lot cheaper it might be worth it but it uses too much power for the performance it offers, making it not worth it regardless.

This card only can shine in SLI, otherwise as expected, the perfs are between the 5830 and 5850... and closer of the 5830....

Well, in a way it's similair to the HD5830, looking at other reviews aswell, it's overpriced, uses more power than the model above it(GTX470 and the HD5850) and both are okayish, but not to be recommended.
If you want a good ATi card, either get a HD5770 or a HD5850, as the HD5830 is overpriced for it's performance/power ratio .
Same applies to the GTX465, it's overprices compared to the competition, uses to much power(more than the GTX470 according to quite a few other websites) and the performance is average at the very best. Either get a GTX285 or a GTX470, but can't see how the GTX465 managed to get recommended by Guru3D looking at those facts
