Only folding when I get home from work with my gpu alone, so the folding is going slow

Wanted to note today before shutting off my folding for the night I finally placed myself at 992 in our team.

Yay 49!
I almost choked on my coffee to see that I was on the top producers list on the main guru3d page. I'd been offline for a while after moving into a house and seeing how much bills would be each month. I'm back online now with 2 rigs instead of one. the first is 3x 6970's a GTS450 and a 4ghz phenomII running CPU folding (not SMP, the ati cards requre too much processor time to keep info flowing to them...)
the second I built to play around with the new bulldozer cpu, its a FX-4100 running at 4.7ghz and a 6950 and gt440 running on it. the fx-4100 running smp can pump out 4k ppd or more, but again to keep the 6950 card running well it's only running the single core client. I'm glad to be supporting guru3d again and will keep my rigs running as much as I can.

Congratulations for your position in top 20 BronzeMFP and I'm sure you will go higher in the list. Maybe if you try the smp client with -smp3 for FX-4100(1 core for your ati card) it will improve your ppd without affecting your gpu.

And if nothing bad happens, it looks like we'll shot up by 2 ranks in a week or so.

IIRC, the SMP cores can only use even number of CPU cores, so setting it to 3 might make the cores to use only 2 CPU cores.
But PantherX could clear about this up more than me.

@BronzeMFP
Maybe you could try setting SMP to 2 then use both 6950 and GT440, or use full SMP with just the GT440.
CUDA cores don't take up too much CPU time, and it's probably better to have the SMP at full swing (+GT440) due to bonus points, even if GPU folding has a faster finishing time.
i.e my GTX560 Ti @880/2004 has a TPF around 1m30s, so your 6950 should be way faster than mine.

By the way, how come an FX-4100 @4.7GHz only has around 4k PPD?
I know you also said 'or more', but the way you phrased it it's as if you didn't get more than 8k PPD.

I folded smp units with an Amd 710 X3 (3 cores) and all 3 worked fine 100%load. Maybe when you have 4 cores and set the client to use just 3 it's another situation
