Just baught a PS3

So, as the thread title says, i baugth a PS3 couple of weeks ago.
The past 3 years i have been gaming on my PC exclusively so i dont have a very good idea of what games our out there for the PS3.
Can you recomend me some top of the line titles?

Any genre will do.
I have played GoW3 and MGS4 so far and just started on FF13.

I can think of the following exclusives you might enjoy:
Little Big Planet,
Heavy Rain,
Resistence 2( not a stunning game but the boss battles are amazing )
Killzone 2
Gt5: Prologue

first and foremost without question uncharted 1 and 2. get them now.
the only problem is after you play uncharted 2 you will notice a lack in quality in other games....

If you like strategy, give Valkyria Chronicles a shot. Severely underrated game.

Ridge racer 7(Love this game)
Folk lore(Very underrated game)

hey thanks guys for all the suggestions. seems i need to make a choice sicne there are too many to buy em ALL

i am definately going after heavy rain , valkyrie chronicles and uncharted!

Remeber to shop around, most of the game on those lists have been out for a while and you will no doubt get them for a song.

Just cause 2. Simply because its an awesome game. And unlike games like Heavy Rain and yes even the great Uncharted series, just cause 2 holds what they can only grasp for and that is the vast amount of Re playability value it holds.

Just cause 2 is a must have for any platform hands down.

hm i played just cause 2 on pc and didnt like it that much.
tries to be a jack of all trades but ends up mediocre in every aspect

Just focusing on exclusives I can think of off the top of my head

FPS: Uncharted 1/2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance: Fall of Man 1/2
Action: God of War III, Heavenly Sword, Infamous, Demons Souls (unless you hate dieing several hundred thousand times or have anger management issues), Ratchet & Clank series

Demon Souls right , got very good review scores in gamespot and ign. but i think u must import it if you are european right?

Hmmm. Don't know. I had a hard time getting it here in Canada but that was because it was always sold out. Ended up getting it online from the US. Either way if you can get it and you can get through the learning curve it will be the only game you play for a long time. Think Mega Man (pick any level and each boss gives you a "power" that can be used to help you further) had an afair with Oblivion (it's an Medievil style RPG with all the Knight vs Evil stuff you expect) and this is the child born form that affair.
It is built from the ground up to be played through atleast 3 times. 1st to learn WTF is going on, 2nd and 3rd is to play the game and enjoy all it's little suprises. The Online MP is desent and you can choose to help others, get others to help you or after you finish the first play through you can invade others games and wrek havok on their game.
Gonna go and play some now that I have talked about it.
