About the Game:

"TERA is a fast-paced action MMORPG set in a breathtaking world conjured by two dreaming primal gods. Your explorations will take you over rugged mountains, across searing deserts, and through hazardous jungles. Take your place as a soldier for the Valkyon Federation and fight alongside other races to forge a new future while healing the mistakes of the past.

There's no time for factions in TERA—all seven races and eight classes must work together to wrench destiny from the gods themselves! Arm yourself, gather your allies, and take control of your fate. Races:

"Enter the world of TERA as one of seven player races, each with its own history, lore, and point of view. These are the races of the Valkyon Federation, leading the way into a new era of unity as they face a battle for their very existence."

The Races are: Amani, Baraka, Castanics, Elins, High Elves, Humans, and Poporis.

Classes:

And what does 'doing something different' mean? Every company claims they are doing something different, until it's released and the game turns out to be yet another WoW/EQ clone and dies horribly.

Why do MMO's constantly use the fantasy/medival style? I know theres a small few other types but this is gettn old.

To be honest, this game is just like any other MMO out there. They talked about how this game is different than any MMORPG out there yet the style and the gameplay is exactly like other MMO out there.

It's different because it's not like DnD style with rolls and ****, it's basically, if you're aiming at the right spot you hit, if you don't, you don't.

In this game, I like the art. It really helps an MMO in my opinion. It's one reason I keep going back to WoW. The graphics aren't so good, but the art makes them fun to look at. Contrast that with LOTRO which has a much better engine but bland design.

AION was more unique and interesting looking imo. The only MMO i'll probably ever play will be TES V if it ever gets released.

TESV is going to be an rpg not an mmo. They are two different things.

It might be the Fallout mmo but the TESV mmo is just a rumor nothing more.

Well yeah interplay is working on it not Bethesda Softworks. It isn't named fallout right now but everyone know that it is fallout mmo.

I still say TESV mmo is a rumor and rumor doesn't mean that there is going to be a TESV mmo. right. well IF it were to be MMO, its the only one i'd consider.
Surely something has to eventually dethrone WOW, hopefully its something like Guild Wars, no monthly cost.

I'd eat up a Fallout or TES mmo with all it's bits... I mean, when Oblivion was just released and out a bit, me and a friend of mine fantasized about an Oblivion mmo. I mean it would be cool to have Oblivion with co-op or something, though Fallout with co-op would be cooler

or a STALKER mmo...

that first and last screens look very The Last Remnant'ish... is it UE3?

you can notice UE3 from a mile away, only on some games, it's a bit harder

and shame on me, I totally forgot about SW: TOR, defo gonna check it out, when it's released....
