Guys,
I noticed in my BIOS (F9p) that there was no option for spread spectrum enable/disable. I contacted GB's Tech support and they very kindly produced a new version of the BIOS (F10a) with the option albeit hidden in the Award BIOS, but alt+F1 shows it in advanced clock control in the M.I.T. section.
Anyway what are peoples' thoughts on this setting? I had it enabled, and my system is rock solid. I have though, decided to disable it, system is still just as stable, but I have heard because it compensates for any interfence/harmonics affecting the clocks, it can send some clocks for milliseconds very high! any thoughts would be appreciated.
