Panorama i did of the view from Chimney Rock at Chimney Rock Park in North Carolina.

Originally had a clickable thumbnail.... but seeing as Photobucket just LOVES to shrink the hell out of everything (original resolution is 18,005 x 4,000).... figured that the shrunken down version would be just fine.

Surprised it turned out that well, seeing as it was shot freehand without a tripod. On that note.... i SOOOOOO love my Canon Rebel T2i.

if i actually had the true original uploaded somewhere. 30MB file size.

Got a few more from the vacation.

First we got two nice little pics..... both where you can also see that it's raining.... but not where i'm standing.

View from Mount Mitchell, also in North Carolina. Nice to watch, too. You can just stand there and watch the clouds and/or fog rolling across the peaks.

..... too many people where i took that pic (not TOO many right at the time of taking this picture.... but people come and go all the time there it seems. never a point where it's empty from what i've been told).... otherwise i'd have tried to make a panorama of that, too. Absolutely freakin gorgeous. Not to mention refreshing. Freakin like 20 degrees cooler up there than it was at lower elevations. Would be an awesome place to have a summer home.

Nice little squirrel, nibbling on a peanut that people were feeding it..... to make for good photo op's with THEIR DSLR's.

And.... last but not least.... a nice viewpoint i happened to catch as i was driving home, shortly after crossing into Virginia.

hahah im still new to making hdr's still figuring out how much saturation and such i should use.

but as far as the programs i used, photomatix pro, then opened and edited it a bit with CS4.
then i used the tonal contrast preset in nik's color effex pro 2 times, and used lucisart 3 SE, then removed the noise with imagenomics noiseware.

PCThug: Canon EOS Rebel T2i. And if you mean the spot that can be seen in the first two pics... it seems like it's only in those two. Think it may have just been something on the front of the lens that i didn't notice when i took the pictures. Or if you mean how most of the pics seem rather fuzzy.... it could be because i had the f-stop a bit higher than i should have.

And would probably do even better if you had the RAW(s).

I'm not usually a fan of photoshopping everything i take a picture of. Even if it's just subtle details...
