I'm looking for a new graphics card to replace my 9800 GTX+.
Any advice?
And what's this 300 series I've been hearing about?

The 300 series is Nvidia's new dx11 cards, which are supposed to come out around March or later.

I'm new to this hobby so don't take my advice too seriously, but it might be a good idea to wait till they're released and see how things turn out with the price war after.

That sounds good, and I suppose I can just OC my 9800 GTX+ a bit.

I'm pretty sure that the first 300 series cards won't be in the $200 to $250 USD price range but current cards might get a bit cheaper as a result.

Having said that you could get a GTXX275 for ~ $230 right now, for example, Sebasman2:

BFG Tech BFGEGTX275896OCE GeForce GTX 275 896MB - $229.99

In that range, as Cybermancer said, 275 is an option. If you DX11, get 5850 for more. They should get cheap when Fermi comes out, so I would wait..

Thanks for the advice, everybody.
Yeah, I probably should wait until the next series comes out, because there will most likely be a massive price drop in the 200 series. That's pretty much what happened with the 9 series.
