Question Help??? How to lock memory pages - 12-09-2009, 02:51 | posts: 776 | Location: Hawkes Bay

ok so in sisoft sandra i get this msg come up in the tips at the bottom of the memory benchmark page.

Warning W5010 : Cannot use large page memory pages due to lack of privileges.

and is says to do this to rectify it.

Fix: Use the Local Security Policy to give yourself lock memory pages privilege.

Large memory pages greatly improve performance when large memory blocks are allocated

ok so call me thick but how i looked in everything that gpedit.msc brings up and i'm buggered if i see where i'm supposed to tell it to allow the locking of memory pages anywhere so here i am askin the guru's for help on this one

You may need to take ownership of C drive if you haven't already..what OS are you using?

Actually you could prob just run Sandra w/ Administrative rights....
