Well you wouldnt put a cloned HD into a different rig though would you, I mean it is purely for the rig it came from or an identical one

We only use it on duplicate machines. You only clone a fully updated (drivers & OS) HDD. Then when you put it in the duplicate rig it's shouldn't have a problem.
