Default Safe core temps - 11-25-2009, 12:55 | posts: 438 | Location: High in the sky | User is Offline

Am confused what temperature the c2d "cores" are the safe to operate in because on Everest and BIOS it shows CPU at 39c while both cores are doing 49c

So am wondering what sensor I should go by as being the safe temp for the c2d's I think I read 60c which the 2 cores reach during heavy gaming

CoresTemps are internal temps of the CPU cores
CPU Temp is the External Temp of the CPU

In your case both temps are fine, anything over 75c start thinking more about it

Ok cool so as long as the External CPU sensor doesn't reach 60c I should be fine right?..

Happy Thanksgiving
