Quote from the Vista/Win7 x64 release notes resolved issues:

GeForce GTX 260/295: Fallout 3 ‐ the game has an occasional frame drop (stutter).

According to the .inf these are the 195.55 drivers..

EDIT: They are different I just ran a file comparison - I guess they just haven't renamed it yet...

Uhm, that is listed under Vista x64 bugs...and I got the problem under Win7 and a GTX 275, I am quite sure that problem was not limited to just GTX 260/295.

Can someone who has Fallout 3 installed verify that the stuttering really is fixed ?

Yes, after the buggy .55 the new .62 is much more stable, i.e. PES2010 is enabled again and runs fine.

Ehm... Have you noticed that the filename reports 195.55 instead of 195.62?
    EDIT: Ooops, didn't read! :D

Is the scaling still broken for Windows 7 in this driver? I can't test it right now.

the links from nvidia are borked, it is 195.55 youve downloaded :(

you have to edit the link manually, change 195.55 to 195.62 and it should work properly :)
