Sorry if this has been asked a million times, but which Win7 should i go for?
At the moment i have Vista Home Premium, and want the equivilant of it.

I know that Win7 comes in Premium, but that doesnt mean its the same kind of spec as Vista Premium is.

I went pro, but premium is fine if you don't need xp mode.

Agree with the others Home Prem should be fine for you, unless you need XP Mode or the ability to connect to a Domain

Or want to install more than 16GB of RAM

+1

Especially when I got Pro on a student discount for $30.00US

I would go with pro, networking is a snap and I like it.

But if you have the Mula to blow, go for ultimate!
