Try only running with only 3 clients you should be getting 7000-8000 ppd for an 1888 wu.
Leave it checked (Do NOT lock cores to specific CPU).
he is running 3 9800 GX2's which means 6 GPU's total. With stock clocks you should be getting on average 5000 PPD with each GPU.

I was just running 2 9800 GX2's (4 GPU's), but recently one GX2 went the way of the Nvidia bumping failure. Definitely don't lock the cores.

I would really recommend not overclocking the GX2's as this may have been what aided mine in failing because of poor factory bumping and thermal paste application. If you are able to take them apart and reapply the thermal compound than I would do it. Seriously beware of these GPU's.

Looking at your screenshot it looks like something is not right. You can see that a couple GPU's are actually working on the same project, which is not right. Are you sure that you differentiated each GPU separately in the command line with -gpu 0, -gpu 1 and etc? Also, are you sure that you made separate folders for each GPU in you appdata user folder?
